Network Marketers always seem to get a bad rap the minute they voice that they are involved in the Network Marketing Industry. Scams, Cults and Pyramid schemes are the most popular associations we’ve heard. Let’s look at what the Network Marketing “Cult” really is.

Today’s Successful Network Marketers are using the power of the Internet to write their own paychecks. The days of wearing MLM buttons, knocking on people’s doors, and handing out audio tapes and fliers are gone. With today’s Attraction Marketing techniques, Network Marketers can build a very profitable Internet Network Marketing business from the comfort of their own home.
Allow me to clarify what I have learned about The Network Marketing “Cult” since I brought my Network Marketing business to the Internet.
If Network Marketing is a Cult…I’m All In.
C is for Communication. Network Marketers communicate with one another and learn tremendous business building techniques from each other. Network Marketing is not a competition among individuals. It involves a group of like minded people who strive to create a better life for themselves, their team…and who are on a mission to make a difference in this world.
U is for Universal Understanding. Network Marketers from all over the globe have come together, understand each other and strive to lend a hand to anyone willing to create a network marketing business. A successful Network Marketing business provides the freedom to enjoy and embrace a plentiful life…on your own terms.
L is for Leadership. In my entire life, I have never been surrounded by so many leaders who unselfishly reach out to support one another. I have encountered folks from all over the world, who generously provide tips and pointers to help others become successful in their Network Marketing business. Becoming a successful network marketer is a copycat game. Find a successful network marketing mentor and just copy what they have done.
T is for Teamwork. Network Marketers work with each other. Their common goal is to assemble a successful team of individuals who all strive for one universal goal…Success. Network Marketers are willing to give their knowledge and skills without ever expecting anything in return.
The wonderful and generous Network Marketers I have surrounded myself with can be described by this popular quote:

This is an excellent way to put it! Network Marketing has come a long way, but in some people’s eyes still have that “stigma” associated with it.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been told, “oh, it’s one of those pyramid things”. The funny part is, they themselves use the same techniques pretty much daily. “Hey, did you eat at that new pizza joint? It’s great.” Only the pizza joint is paying them to share their product. I find that rather ironic.

For a industry that paid out 110 billion dollars in commissions in the year 2009 and has responsible for assisting 10’s of thousands of ordinary people in becoming financially independent, it gets little credit. That is changing as the unrealistic corporate and public sector security is being revealed more and more. I love this industry for the massive positive impact it has had on the world.
