Building a Successful Network Marketing Business starts with cementing solid relationships with people. Creating valuable relationships and credence, along with a trustworthy reputation, is a requirement to succeed in today’s Internet and Network Marketing Business World

I always like to start my day with a quick trip to the BetterNetworker Forums in the morning. It’s a great way to get the Marketing ideas and juices flowing.
BetterNetworker is a social networking site for Internet and Network Marketers allowing us to exchange valuable content, as well as share thoughts and ideas on what is going on in the Network Marketing Industry. Some of the top producers unselfishly contribute their tips and tricks on how to become a Successful Internet Network Marketer.
This morning it was more like Reality TV for Network Marketers. Here’s what happened…
A young marketer started a discussion in the forums about his “shortcut” to network marketing success.
He quickly discounted the fact that Facebook was a relationship building tool. Here are his exact quoted words:
“The mistake many online marketers make with Facebook, is viewing it as a way to stay in touch with their friends and family, and to play games. Although this is Facebook’s main reason for existing, it’s not how it should be viewed.”
He spewed on and on about how much money he had made with a Facebook Fan page, and how countless numbers of prospects had flocked to his Fan page within a few days of launching it. All he had to do was post sporadic status updates, and then sit back, relax, and watch his bank account grow.
The old adage, “the proof is in the pudding” was quickly implemented by some of the top Internet Network Marketing guns. Before “Mr. Shortcut Taker” knew it…he was being held accountable and was asked to provide the proof of his allegations. With his back against the wall and nowhere to turn, he quietly disappeared from the forum.
So Anne, What happened after he disappeared?
You mean aside from making an utter fool of himself and creating a corrupt reputation with his name attached to it, on the highest ranked and most credible site for Network Marketers?
The discussion continued…and here’s what we decided.
* Google doesn’t lie. His Fan Page is a fantasy he created in his pretty little head.
* Photo Shop is a great tool to tailor a page displaying lots of colorful fancy graphs and numbers…with a lot of zero’$ after them. You can also create some pretty snazzy looking bank checks with your name in the Pay To____ line to fool people.
* Clearly, this young man has never studied the Network Marketing principles and business techniques used to build solid relationships and credence with people.
So Anne, what’s the lesson learned from your “Reality TV…on my PC” experience this morning?
I’m happy you asked…
Here it is in a nutshell.
* Displaying a blog post, a static page or a website page flashing around pictures of Big Fat Checks is a great way to get some time in the Crowbar Motel. It’s called enticement, and it’s illegal.
* Don’t fall for all of the Network Marketing crap going around. Find yourself a Successful Network Marketing Mentor with a great reputation, and who does business with a conscience. Building a Successful Marketing business…is a copycat game. Your mentor will show you how they became successful…all you have to do is duplicate it.
* Facebook, as well as other social media sites are places to build solid relationships with people. Once relationships are built, and trust is created…building a profitable Network Marketing business, or any type of business…is a piece of cake.
Without people, businesses don’t exist.
More Importantly…
Life is not all about making money…it’s about making a difference.
